Nataliia Haluhan is a Chief Consultant of the Department for Economic Strategy and Economic Security at the National Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Ukraine. As part of her service, Nataliia is responsible for the horizon scanning and open source intelligence regarding economic dimension of hybrid warfare in the Eastern Partnership region as well as the emerging digital economy global patterns and trends. Besides her work for Ukrainian government, Nataliia also acts as an independent researcher. Nataliia graduated from the Program in Applied Security Studies, and Program in Terrorism and Security Studies by the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. With the research on the topic “Economic Dimension of Hybrid Aggression on the Eastern Flank” she was awarded the title of Alumni Scholar by the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. Nataliia is also currently a master student of the joint program in International Security Studies by the Bundeswehr University Munich and George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. Nataliia`s master thesis will be focused on Chinese economic expansionism, and its threats to the global security architecture. Nataliia holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master degree in International Economics from Kryvyi Rih Economic Institute of Kyiv National Economic University n.a. V.Hetman.
