Arkadiy Dobkin is the CEO, President and Chairman of the Board at EPAM Systems, a leading global product development, digital platform engineering and top digital and product design agency—operating in 35+ countries with more than 50,000 professionals and 2021 projected revenues of $3.6 billion.
Under his leadership, EPAM has grown from a New Jersey-based start-up into a global leader in the software engineering space—recognized by top independent research agencies, being named to Forbes’ 25 Fastest Growing Public Tech Companies list and ranked as the top IT services company among Fortune’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies in 2019 and 2020.
Outside of EPAM, Mr Dobkin is recognized as a pioneer in the software product engineering and IT services industry and has been an instrumental force in opening the vast software talent pool of the former Soviet Union region and Central and Eastern Europe to the international business community. Inducted into the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur of the Year Academy and to the elite Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame, he is a regular presenter at noted international industry and global technology events.
Prior to founding EPAM in 1993, Mr Dobkin held technical and product leadership positions at SAP, Prudential Insurance and Colgate-Palmolive. Previously, he worked as a software engineer for a large public sector enterprise and after, started his first private software company in Minsk, Belarus.
Mr Dobkin holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Belarusian National Technical University.
